Welcome to WestGuard Security Doors (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using our website or engaging our services, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding with a quote, booking, or installation.
1. Services Provided
WestGuard Security Doors supplies and installs:
Security screen doors
ClearView stainless steel mesh doors
AluGuard perforated aluminium doors
XGuard privacy mesh doors
Diamond grille doors
Sliding flyscreen doors
All products are custom-measured and made to order.
2. Quotes
All quotes are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise.
Prices may vary depending on size, mesh choice, hardware upgrades, colour, and installation requirements.
Standard-size pricing does not apply to oversized doors, non-standard frames, or custom modifications.
3. Measurements
All measurements taken by WestGuard are guaranteed to be accurate for manufacturing.
If the customer provides their own measurements, the customer accepts full responsibility for any errors and associated costs.
4. Booking & Deposits
A minimum 50% deposit is required before manufacturing begins.
Deposits are non-refundable once the custom door has entered production.
Manufacturing typically takes 4 to 8 business days, depending on material availability and order volume.
5. Installation Conditions
Customers must ensure:
Safe, clear access to the installation area
Pets are secured
Existing doors, rubbish, or obstructions are removed
The property is occupied during installation
If the installer cannot safely complete the job, a re-booking fee may apply.
6. Payment Terms
Remaining balance is due on completion of installation.
Payment methods accepted: cash, bank transfer, or card (if available).
Failure to pay on the day of installation may incur late fees or removal of products until payment is made.
7. Changes & Cancellations
Changes to mesh type, colour, sizing, or style are only possible before manufacturing begins.
Once manufacturing has started, cancellations or changes may incur full material and labour costs.
8. Warranty
WestGuard provides:
5-year structural warranty on frames
5-year mesh warranty (material-specific: ClearView, AluGuard, XGuard)
12-month installation warranty
Locks, hinges, closers, and hardware are covered under manufacturer warranties.
Warranty does not cover:
Misuse, tampering, forced entry, intentional damage
Environmental wear, salt corrosion, or pet damage
Incorrect use of triple locks
Doors installed in extreme coastal conditions (unless marine-grade material is chosen)
9. Liability
WestGuard is not liable for:
Damage caused by existing frames, walls, or structures
Delays caused by suppliers, weather, or unforeseen events
Losses resulting from misuse after installation
Attempted break-ins or forced entry (no door is 100% intruder-proof)
10. Website Use
By using this website, you agree not to:
Copy or reproduce content without permission
Misuse forms or submit false information
Engage in harmful or illegal activity
All content, logos, images, and text remain the intellectual property of WestGuard Security Doors.
11. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
